~~ The Bible Fall Dedication ~~

The lodge being opened in due form, the Provincial delegation processed in and greetings were given to the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, and Provincial delegation. The gavel of the lodge was then presented to WBro. Martin Roche SGD APGM who then worked the Dedication Ceremony with the Provincial delegation and members of the Lodge.

The Bible Fall was a present from Rossendale Forest Lodge No.4138 to the new Lodge formed on the amalgamation with the Lodge of Amity No.283, to form the Lodge of Amity and Rossendale Forest No.283.

The Bible Fall was perambulated, carried by Bro. Andrew Coulton (FC) who was the last Mason to be initiated into Rossendale Forest Lodge. The presentation was made by WBro. David Bury PPGSuptWks the Senior Past Master and last WM of Rossendale Forest Lodge No.4138. Interestingly, Bro. Coulton was initiated into Rossendale Forest Lodge No.4138, Passed to the degree of a Fellow-Craft in the Lodge of Amity No.283 and will be Raised to the degree of a Master Mason in the Lodge of Amity and Rossendale Forest No.283 later this year.
