Italy 2013: Four Lodge members achieved the trip of a lifetime when they headed to the Italian Lakes for a week-long stay. After travelling from Hull to Rotterdam on the overnight ferry they loaded their bikes on to the overnight trans-alp express train to arrive in Alessandria the following morning. After riding north to Lake Maggiore they settled in to their apartment for the week. Their many excursions took them to lake Garda and high in to the Italian/Swiss Alps, experiencing the Simplon and other passes, all of them breath-taking and fantastic biking roads.
