An extract from a letter sent to the Lodge Almoner from Eric's Son, Frank, who is also a Freemason.

"It was a real shame that my father could not be present. Sadly, he has deteriorated considerably over the past 6 months or so and as you know he is now residing at Olive House near Bacup. My father has enjoyed many happy years in freemasonry and it as been a very important part of his life for the last 50 years. Whilst it is unlikely that he will attend lodge again in future he has many very happy memories to remind him of his time in freemasonry.

On behalf of my father and my family I send greetings and best wishes to all the members of the lodge and the province and wish you all well for the future."
Yours sincerely and fraternally, With best wishes, Frank Corbridge
