January 2019
1) † Mrs Florence Ingham, one of our Lodge Widows, who had died since our last meeting. Mrs Ingham was a predominant member of the then Ladies Social Committee and the Widow of the late WBro John Ingham PAGSwdB who was a Past Master of Rossendale Forest Lodge No.4138 and Master of the Lodge in 1966. † April 2019This month WBro Eric Corbridge PProvDepGReg will celebrate 50 years in Freemasonry. Unfortunately, Eric is unable to attend the Lodge so a presentation from the Province and the Lodge will be made at his home by the AProvGM, WBro. Alan Kirwilliam PGStB and WBro Derek Smith PProvDepGDC Almoner.

On Tuesday 14th February the Provincial Grand Master of Cheshire RWBro Stephen Martin Blank was featured together with Sir David Trippier his counterpart from the neighbouring Province of East Lancashire at Altrincham Masonic Hall, Timperley. Organised Freemasonry is Celebrating 300 Years since its be origins 1716 The Tercentenary as its known, is an opportunity to show the General Public just what an Open Organisation Freemasonry has become with its Charitable work and support for the local Communities being publicised, the doors of Masonic Halls and Meeting Places welcoming people to come along and see what this benevolent Society has to offer. |
